I didn't have a lot of spare time on Friday, on any Friday for that matter, so my project for today is a quick and easy one. This jolly little ATC is stamped on white CS in cranberry ink and then layered on some cranberry gingham. I added some glitter glue to the stars and hat and liquid glass to Santa's face and beard. Of course the liquid glass made the cranberry ink more orangey *sigh*. Might try this again with black ink and only glitter the hat. Last year I was able to take one of my ATC designs and change it into my christmas cards so I'm hoping one of my little art will click with me and I can do that again.... hmmm.... still thinking this one over. Oh yea, stamps are CTMH and I adding some fake stitching around the edges.

ReplyDeleteI thought the orange was intentional for added interest. I think it looks good. I love the gingham (sp?) paper...adds the perfect homemade christmas touch!
