LOC #47 - Fairy Tales

This weeks challege at Left of Center Challenges is Fariy Tales and our sponsor is Delicious Doodles.  I've used Eva The Witch.  I've colored her cloak red so she looks like Little Red Riding Hood.  I think this is one gal that the big bad wolf would not want to mess with.

After coloring her with pencils I cut her out and added to a mini journal page.  I used a Tim Holtz stencil called Shatter and sprayed with Black Marble Dylusions ink. I added a spider sticker for a little bit of sparkle.
Stop by the challenge blog to find out what other fairy tales the DT team have decided to share this week.

LOC # 45 - no designer papers

Hello my crafty friends!  It's time for another fun challenge over at Left of Center Challenges.  This week our sponsor is Ike's Art and the challenge is to not use any designer papers. I happen to have a massive paper stash but sometimes it's fun to not use those papers.  I got to play with Robot ~1 at Ike's Art.

I decided to play in my mini journal.  Since we couldn't use designer papers I decided to make my own.  I used one of my Cuttlebug folders to create the background.  I inked up the folder with chocolate ink and then pressed it down onto each of my journal pages. I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out as it's the first time I tried it, but it worked great I think.  Since the page still looked a little stark with the chocolate on white I sprayed tattered leather glimmer mist over both pages. I colored my Robot ~1 image with pencils and added some bronze glitter glue. I cut her out and added her to my page.
I really love how my journal turned out. I hope you join us over at LOC and show off what you can create without using any of those designer papers from your stash.
