Freaky Friday 42

Have you been over to Forever Night Challenges lately?  Each week we have a fun new challenge for you to join in on.  This week for challenge #42 the theme is "Steampunk and Metal".   Our fabulous sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs and I got to play with one of their super cool steampunk images.
Aren't these ladies sexy!?!  I colored them with pencils and sponged ink around them.  My metal is in the form of brads.  I also spritzed my edging and flowers with a bronze color glimmer mist.
It's also time for a new term at Forever Night Challenges and some of our DT are moving on and we are gaining some new talent as well.  Make sure to stop by to check out this weeks creations and say goodbye to a few of the gals and send a warm welcome to the newest members of our DT.
The winner this week will win 4 images from Sassy Studio Designs so start creating your steampunk and metal projects now!

Pretty Creepy

This week over at Smudgy Antics the challenge is Pretty Creepy.  I've used this fabulous Medusa image from Smeared Ink from the Women of Power set.

I've colored her with pencils and gel pens.  I used glimmer mist to add some shine to both the card base and the image.

Thanks for stopping by!

Smudgy Antics: Pretty Creepy
Haunted Design House: Eerie Elegance

Feelin' Witchy

Time for another challenge over at Forever Night Challenges.  The theme for challenge #41 is Feeling Witchy, so pull out your witchy stamps and start creating!  Our sponsor this week is Karber Stamps and we were given this cutie to play with.

I colored her with Copics and gel pens.  I cut her out and added her to my fat page.  The papers are actually purple, but they look more blueish in the photo. The cute little button is from my stash and it says Hocus Pocus.
Don't forget we still have a couple other challenges going on over at Forever Night so check them out too!

I will be entering this fat page into the following challenges:
Fat Pages and Cards with Attitude - challenge 16 "anything goes"

Freaky Friday Double Challenge

Our fearless leader at Forever Night Challenges has had some serious computer issues and we've fallen a bit behind on some challenges.  So in order to play catch up she has posted not one but TWO awesome challenges for you today.

First is challenge #39 - anything goes - Check out the fabulous samples Team A have created using images from Limited Runs Digis.

Second challenge #40 - urban legends - I've created a card based on the Hitchhiker.  There are many different versions of this legend but basically this poor girl and her boyfriend got into a car accident on their way home from prom and her ghostly spirit roams the roads searching for a ride home.

I browsed thru all my digis looking for a gal in a prom dress and I found this fabulous image in my Stitchy Bear folder (labeled as CNTRosieDS).  However I went and looked for her there to link up and I can't find her :(  so if anyone knows the artist who drew this please let me know so I can update my blog and my image folder.  I sponged the background in several shades of blue and then stamped the tree (from Paula Best) several times to make it look like she is in a woodsy area.

So come on over to Forever Night Challenges and pick a challenge (or both) and join in on the fun!

Skull Appreciation Day 2012

Hello Friends!  Thanks so much for hoppin' on by today for the Skull Appreciation Day Blog Hop.  I know you've got lots of stops so I'll make this a short post. Last year one of my projects was a journal page so I wanted to keep up the tradition and create another page for this year's hop.

The image is from Smeared Ink and I used Aqua Markers to color the page.  My second project is an ATC.

I used one of the freebie images from Wonderstrange. They have new freebies every Tuesday.  I colored this fabulous skull with Aqua Markers and Gel Pens.

The hop list is to the left but if you are going in order your next stop will be Glittery Katie's blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Challenges:
ATCs and Cards with Attitude challenge 15 - anything goes
Smudgy Antics - anything goes
