Happy Skull Appreciation Day!! Not sure what this is all about? Visit
Skull-a-Day to find out all about it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I was so excited when I found out that
Smeared and Smudged were going to celebrate this day and organize a blog hop. Make sure to check out all the wonderful contributions everyone had made to this hop (we all love comments too so don't be shy). Make sure to go back to the beginning to find out some other fun things going on for the hop and we have some awesome sponsors too! Ok let's get right to my projects since you've got lots more hoppin' to do.
My first project is an ATC. I love this girlie skull dont you? I used bubblegum pink ink for all my stamping and distressing here.
My next project is an art journal page. I can never seem to draw a skull that's even so cheated and only drew half of one :) Sketched it in and added more gesso to the skull for texture. Used red and blue water color crayons to add color to the page and black for the eye. Couldn't find the right paint brush so ended up just smearing it all around with my finger. Then I added a quote from Isaac Bashevis Singer. "There is great treasure behind our skull and this is true about all of us. This little treasure has great, great powers an I would say we only have learnt a very, very small part of what it can do." Cool huh? Here's the list, happy hopping!
