Today I have mad a tag using Edgar from the Octopode Factory. I've colored him with pencils and cut him out to place on my that that I have embossed with a bingo folder. I rubbed a purple ink pad (altho you can't tell in the picture) over most of the design and orange over the 31. I also stamped some bats from MFT and added them.

I can't believe that the month has gone so fast, only a few more days left of the hop.  Thanks again for stopping by, your wonderful comments encourage me thru all of my late night stamping :)

Just a quick post for you today. I'd like to say thanks again for continuing to visit and comment each day, it really means a lot to me :)

I've made a card using this cute batty about you girl from My Favorite Things.  Yes I love dark images, but once in a while I just love the cutesy stuff :) I've colored her with pencils and cut her out to put onto black CS. I used a white gel pen to draw my stitching and then mounted that on a fun dotted paper from my stash.

This month is flying by. I want to send a big thank you out to all the hoppers that have stopped by.  You all make this even more fun than it already is. For my project today I working in my mini-journal.   I started by gesso-ing the pages and since I'm not very patient I went ahead and sprayed my glimmer mist while it was still wet.  It looked awesome after spraying Jack Frost and Cornflower Daze and I was so happy, then I added black and it sprayed out in one big clump :(  So I ending up taking a paper towel to dab most of the black away and since the gesso was still wet it all blended together. It's not the first time I've done this so you'd think I'd learn, but oh well I still like how it came out looking like night sky, which is what I was going for in the first place.

My images are all from MFT. Very little coloring needed. Then I realized I forgot to add a moon so I cut a small circle and added some gesso on it for my moon texture and glued that to the page.

For today's project I have created something that I have never attempted before.  A pop up box.

After watching a couple of videos I decided to give it a try as Simply B Stamps is having a challenge and are asking for a pop-up box. I have used Steampunk Witch from Simply B Stamps. The cauldron and bats are from MFT and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps. This was a fun little project to work on, I might have to try another during the hop :)

LOC Anniversary Event - Day 3

Hello my crafty friends! Today is day 3 of our Anniversary Event over at LOC.   For the event we are having an Anything Goes Challenge and there are many wonderful prizes. You can check out who our sponsors are, the rules for the challenge and see all the awesome prizes right here.
Our Anniversary Event runs from March 7th thru the 31st. Each day we are showcasing some of our wonderful sponsors. Today I have used a new image form Sassy Studio Designs, Sexy Cupid Sassy. This image just called for pink in my opinion.

I have colored her with pencils and used foam tape to pop her off the card. Her wings I colored really lightly with a silver pencil and then added a touch of glitter for some shimmer :) The hearts along the bottom are from  MFT - Layered Heart Border.  (psst  the LOC die-cut challenge is still going on too.)

LOC # 26 - Die Cuts

Hello all you fabulous humans!  Today begins another fun challenge over at the Left of Center blog. We also just started a Left of Center Creative Challenges FB group and we would love to have you join us there. The theme for this challenge is "die cuts".  We have 2 awesome sponsors this time around so if you head over to the blog you can see many samples from both of them.  We are lucky to have Ike's Art and The Stamping Chef.  I got to play with this super fun image from The Stamping Chef - Bittersweet.  I had so much fun coloring her.

I've colored her with pencils and then cut her out and used foam tape to add her to a tag. The die cut I've used is the Medium Fancy Flourish from MFT.  Now head on over to the LOC blog to see all the wonderful work from the DT and then pull out your stash of die-cuts and start crafting. Yay, for a 3 day weekend! I'm lucky enough to have the day off on this 14th day of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop.  Just a reminder you can find the rules the hints and the previous days winners over on Terra's blog.

I've made an ACT today using an image from Wonderstrange Arts. You can find this skellie dude right here. I colored him with pencils, cut him out and used some foam tape to add him to the ATC. I have a black CS base then white CS that I embossed and went over with an ink pad and the swirl is from MFT. (I'm too tired to go digging thru my embossing folders at the moment, but I'll update later with the pattern)

12 Days of Creepmas - Day 3

Welcome back to day 3 of the Creepfest! Visit the Smeared & Smudged blog for all the deets.  Today I made a tag in Christmas colors :)

The skeleton butterfly image is from Paula Best.  I've embossed the background and used direct to paper technique to ink it up in lovely green.  The black swirl is a die cut from MFT.  I'm still deciding on the ribbon or fibers to add.... might need to make a run to the craft store for the perfect one :)

QKD 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of the QKD Halloween Blog Hop.  Today's theme is flowers.  I've used this lovely image from Monica N Galvan's Visions Collection called Masquerade Fairy, you can find her at the QKD Store.

I've colored her with pencils and added a little bit of everything else.  I made the flowers from patterned paper and a die from MFT.  I used black glitter glue in each of the flowers and regular glitter glue on her wings. Also some gel pen on her mask and trim of her dress.  The background was spritzed with purple glimmer mist and the flowers with white glimmer mist.  I made the stick pin with beads from my stash.  I had a lot of fun with this creation.

Surf's Up!

I got this image from Tiffany Doodles by joining in over at the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge this week.  I stamped on craft paper and then used my colored pencils to coordinate with the paper from my older CTMH stash.  The waves are from MFT, I cut 3 strips to layer.
