LOC # 70 - Dark Dreams

It's time for a new challenge over at Left of Center Challenges!  This weeks theme is "dark dreams". If your project is "mainstream" you must use the theme, however if you decide to go left of center your project can be anything goes.  We define left of center as anything steampunk, horror, anime, gothic, punk, Halloween, scary/creepy or mythical (fairy tales, myths, supernatural, mermaids, etc).  Sounds fun right?!!?

This week our sponsor is the amazing Sweet Pea Stamps
you can't believe how excited I was when they added digis.

I got to play with Helena Reis' Dia de los Muertos.

I've colored her with pencils and fussy cut her out to pop onto my card.  My polka dot paper is from the Simple Stories SN@P! color vibe collection. I've also added a black glittered spider and black ribbon.  I just adore this sweet image.

Now head on over to the LOC blog to see the fabulous creations from our DT and the variety of images we've used from Sweet Pea Stamps.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 14

Yay, for a 3 day weekend! I'm lucky enough to have the day off on this 14th day of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop.  Just a reminder you can find the rules the hints and the previous days winners over on Terra's blog.

I've made an ACT today using an image from Wonderstrange Arts. You can find this skellie dude right here. I colored him with pencils, cut him out and used some foam tape to add him to the ATC. I have a black CS base then white CS that I embossed and went over with an ink pad and the swirl is from MFT. (I'm too tired to go digging thru my embossing folders at the moment, but I'll update later with the pattern)

Thanks for stopping by!

31 Days of Halloween - Day 9

It's day 9 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. All the info can still be found here on Terra's blog.  :)
I'm back to creating in my journal today, mixing it up with a Dia De Los Muertos page.

I stamped my image from After Midnight Art Stamps.  The scribbled with my water color crayons and added some water to blend it all together. After it dried I added my border stamp from CTMH and colored her dress with pencils.

Short post today, it's been a crazy week at work already.

Next stop on the hop... Trisha.
